Introducing the Executive Committee’s Proposed Candidate for President-Elect: Filippo Maria Nimbi

The EFS Executive Committee is pleased to propose Dr. Filippo Maria Nimbi as candidate for President-Elect (becoming the new EFS president from 2028 to 2032).

Filippo has been a dedicated member of the EFS family since 2016, serving first as Personal Assistant to the President and Chair of the EFS Youth Committee, before being elected General Secretary in 2022 – a role he continues to hold today. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the eCampus University (Italy), holds a PhD with Doctor Europaeus distinction from Sapienza University of Rome, and is a certified EFS & ESSM Psycho-Sexologist.

With over a decade of active involvement in European sexology, an extensive international research record, and a strong commitment to education, communication, and advocacy, Filippo brings both institutional knowledge and a forward-looking vision to the Federation. His candidacy represents continuity, innovation, and a deep passion for advancing sexology across Europe and beyond.
