Introducing the Early Careers Committee!

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Early Careers Committee within the EFS! We, Tabea and Sarah, met as students at the EFS conference in Bologna and had the idea to create a dedicated space for EFS members in the first seven years of their careers in sexology. Our mission is to foster a supportive and welcoming environment where emerging professionals can connect, network, and inspire one another as we navigate the start of our journeys in this fascinating field.

The Early Careers Committee is here to bring opportunities for growth, learning, and camaraderie. We’ll be organizing events such as Q&A sessions with experienced professionals, meet-and-greets, symposiums, and even a buddy system for conferences to help you make the most of these experiences.

Beyond events, we want your voice to be heard within the larger committee. To help shape our goals and actions, we’ll be launching a survey soon, inviting your ideas, preferences, and any concerns so that we can make sure the Early Careers Committee serves you well. Our aim is to represent your thoughts to the executive committee, ensuring that early-career professionals have a place in the broader conversation.
